Chaka Khan

Who got to see Chaka Khan for free on Wednesday, yours truly. Celebrate Brooklyn came with the fire, literally, for the opening of the season. Everyone and their mother, whether they lived in Brooklyn or not, was there to see Ms. Khan, and she did not disappoint. The spirit of the summer was truly in the air. Blankets, food, wine, and friendship. Shout out to Ms. Kilolo for holding prime real estate in the park, two blankets, #boom! NYC is in full swing, even though it feels like early fall.
