Fast summer

This summer is going by fast. I can't believe, in two days, it will be July 20th. In my line of business (education), I look forward to doing all  things that NYC have to offer. But since purchasing a car lastsumner, I've been doing more road trips, catching a show here, or a movie there somewhere. 

Today was my biggest highlight,  sleepover with my Girl Scout troop while my god-daughter is in town. Tweens, pre-teens and full blown teenagers are both a handful and joy. Like I always say to the young people in my life. I love to hate you, and I hate to love you. They get it!

Musical Chairs

Every time I contemplate on leaving NYC, I find things to do like no other place. Today I participated (with 480 other people) in a game of musical chairs in Bryant park. It was so much fun. I lasted at least ten grounds which was like 45 minutes.  

Tomorrow I'm working out in the park. First, let's just say working out, second, in the park for others to see. I've come a long way baby. Exploring new things, meeting new people. This summer is going to be great!

Remember the good things!

When death happens we are not sad for those who left us, we are often sad for ourselves. We think about not being able to be in the presence of the ones we love. Instead of being sad, rejoice. Rejoice in love and, remember their contributions to your life and how they made the day a bit easier. Rejoice and sound off the triumpets in their memory, and live like they did. Unofficially Official

I'm back! It's May 26, Memorial Day 2014 the unofficial official start of the summer, and the official start of blogging for the season. Today was a great day, I got to see my mom, lucky, Andre and Michele. Dance Africa 2014 was off the chain. The weather was perfect, and it goes without saying, I found some new pieces to add to the collection. Let's get the season started!
